Site Preloader: overlay until the page is ready
Site Preloader is a full-site overlay, not an Elementor section animation. Admin tabs: dashboard, settings, templates, rules, advanced, import/export.

Install the plugin from WordPress.org, enable this extension in the dashboard, then follow the steps on this page.
What it actually does
Dashboard frequency: always, first_visit, once_per_session, once_per_day. Hide events: window_load, dom_ready, timeout.
Rules: specific_pages, front_page, blog_page, all_posts, all_pages, archive, search, url_contains, url_equals, devices, plus selected/excluded pages.
Templates can include logo_enabled and text_enabled. Pro adds custom templates, advanced conditions, and AJAX navigation support (file header).

Enable Site Preloader. Open King Addons → Site Preloader (king-addons-site-preloader). Options: king_addons_site_preloader_settings and king_addons_site_preloader_rules.
How to set it up
- Enable Site Preloader. Dashboard.
- Pick a preset. Dashboard/templates — keep it short.
- Choose hide event. window_load is safest for image-heavy pages; timeout is a failsafe.
- Set frequency. first_visit so returning readers are not blocked every time.
- Limit with rules. Front page only is a good start.

- Hiding FOUC on a heavy landing page — still keep timeout on.
Notes from the implementation
A preloader always adds wait. If Core Web Vitals matter, use first_visit + timeout. kingaddons.com.

It shows on every pageview.
Frequency is set to always. Switch to session/day/first_visit.
It never hides.
Raise timeout or switch hide event to window_load; a JS error can block dom_ready logic.
