WooCommerce Builder: Elementor templates for shop URLs
Woo Builder only boots when WooCommerce is active and Elementor is loaded. It replaces WooCommerce templates — it is not a homepage shop widget.

Install the plugin from WordPress.org, enable this extension in the dashboard, then follow the steps on this page.
What it actually does
Template types: Single Product, Product Archive, Cart, Checkout, My Account.
Assignment uses Enable template, Priority, and Rules (AND). Rule types include all products, specific products, product categories, tags, types, shop page, category archives, tag archives, plus cart/checkout/account pages. Legacy ID-based rule keys still exist in PHP for older templates.
template_include runs at priority 99. Body classes mark the active Woo Builder context.
Cart coupon, checkout steps, and My Account dashboard pieces belong on these templates. The public shop loop is WooCommerce Grid. My Account endpoint routing is handled by a Pro manager class.
Where to find it in WordPress
Install WooCommerce. King Addons → Dashboard → enable WooCommerce Builder. Open the WooCommerce Builder menu. Create a template and set its type.
How to set it up
- Confirm WooCommerce. The constructor returns immediately if WooCommerce is missing.
- Enable Woo Builder. Dashboard toggle, then the WooCommerce Builder menu.
- Create the matching type. Single product vs archive vs cart vs checkout vs My Account — the type must match the URL you want to replace.
- Add Woo widgets. Product data widgets on singles; grid on archives; native Woo shortcode widgets for cart/checkout/account forms.
- Enable, add AND rules, set priority. Visit a real product or the cart on the front end to verify the override.
Controls that change behavior
| Control | What the plugin does |
|---|---|
| Template Type | Which WooCommerce screen this document replaces. |
| Enable template | Off means WordPress keeps the default WooCommerce template. |
| Rules (AND) | All listed rules must match (products, cats, tags, types, shop, cart, …). |
| Priority | Which enabled template wins when two could apply. |
When this is the right tool
- A custom product page in Elementor without a child-theme Woo template.
- A designed shop/archive that still uses WooCommerce queries.
- Cart or checkout layout that wraps WooCommerce’s own forms.
Notes from the implementation
Coupon fields on a homepage will not hook WooCommerce checkout. Put them on the Cart template. Product site: kingaddons.com.
FAQ
The shop still uses the theme. Why?
