AI SEO Tools: bulk alt text, auto tagging, and post generation
AI SEO Tools is a dashboard, not an Elementor widget. King Addons does not bill OpenAI usage. You add your own API key under AI Settings; OpenAI bills at their rates.

Install the plugin from WordPress.org, enable this extension in the dashboard, then follow the steps on this page.
What it actually does
Bulk alt text queues Media Library images (king_addons_ai_seo_bulk_alt_pending_ids) and processes them with cron. Progress, errors, and last-success IDs are stored in options.
Auto tagging lives in this extension (the Auto_Tagging folder has no PHP). It adds a column on the posts list: generate, append, regenerate, or clear tags. Bulk jobs use pending/progress options and cron; batch size is 1.
Post generator builds title, HTML content, excerpt, and tags via OpenAI, with optional featured image (image model/quality/size). Length presets: short, medium, long. You pick post status and category.
Where to find it in WordPress
King Addons → AI Settings for the OpenAI key. Enable AI SEO Tools, then open King Addons → AI SEO Tools (king-addons-ai-seo-tools). In-editor AI (translate, rewrite, DALL·E) is separate — see the AI tools guide.
How to set it up
- Add an OpenAI key. King Addons → AI Settings. Without a key, modules return needs-setup errors.
- Enable AI SEO Tools. Dashboard → AI SEO Tools, then open the submenu.
- Run one module. Bulk alt, bulk tags, or post generator — they do not share a single queue.
- Watch progress. Each module stores processed/total/errors. You can stop a bulk job from the same screen.
Controls that change behavior
| Control | What the plugin does |
|---|---|
| OpenAI API key | Stored in AI Settings; used by all AI modules. |
| Bulk alt queue | Pending attachment IDs + lock/progress options. |
| Tagging column | Per-post generate / append / regenerate / clear, plus bulk cron. |
| Post generator | Prompt, length, category, status, optional image model. |
When this is the right tool
- Filling alt text on a large Media Library without opening each attachment.
- Tagging a backlog of posts from the list table.
- Drafting a full post (and optional image) from a prompt.
Notes from the implementation
There is also a dedicated Alt Text Generator for Media Library buttons and optional auto-on-upload. Use that if you only need alt text, not tagging or post generation.

FAQ
Does King Addons charge for tokens?
No. You pay OpenAI. King Addons only sends the requests.
Where did Auto Tagging go?
It is a module inside AI SEO Tools, not a separate PHP extension.
Can I tag from Elementor?
No. Tagging is a posts-list and dashboard job.
